Ingredients

  • 4 baking potatoes Note 1
  • 1-2 teaspoons olive oil
  • fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Prepare potatoes: Scrub the potatoes and dry them well with kitchen towels. Rub with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and rub again. Pierce with a fork all over.
  • Preheat the air fryer if necessary, according to the machine's instructions.
  • Cook: Place the potatoes in the basket and cook on 200 degrees Celsius/ 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 40 to 50 minutes depending on the size. Turn them halfway using tongs. Make sure they are perfectly soft by piercing them with a fork or knife.
  • Serve: Remove from the air fryer, split in the middle, fluff the insides a little with a fork. Top with a knob of butter or a dollop of sour cream. Sprinkle with more salt, some pepper, chopped chives, and serve immediately.
