Elderflower Gin Cocktail
Refreshing and flavorful Elderflower Gin Cocktail with tonic water and lemon, this will become your favorite summer drink.

- large ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice + more wedges for the garnish Note 1
- 6 cl gin 2 fl.oz, Note 2
- 3 cl elderflower liqueur or syrup 1 fl. oz, Note 3
- 7-9 cl tonic water 2.5-3 fl.oz, Note 4
- a few mint or lemon balm leaves for garnishing optional
Chill the glasses, gin, and elderflower liqueur or syrup. You can place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes before stirring the cocktail.
Add ice cubes to the glass.
Squeeze some lemon juice into the glass.
Pour in the gin and the elderflower drink.
Fill with tonic water and garnish with lemon wedges and mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
- Add lemon juice to taste. Start with 1-2 tablespoons and add more after you’ve poured in all the other ingredients.
- Use your favorite brand; I have London Dry Gin most of the time.
- Either St Germain liqueur or elderflower syrup.
- Use a good quality, well-carbonated brand.
