Cherry Popsicles

Refreshing cherry popsicles made with only 3 ingredients. Intense cherry flavor, healthy and so easy to make.

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Popsicle molds

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sweet cherries
  • juice of 1 lemon Note
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey more to taste

Instructions

  • Pit the cherries.
    1 lb sweet cherries
  • Blend the cherries in the food processor until very smooth. Add lemon juice and honey. Blend well again and taste. Add more lemon juice and honey to taste, if necessary. Blend again.
    juice of 1 lemon + 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • Freeze cherry popsicles: Pour the mixture into the molds, insert the sticks. Freeze for at least 6-8 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

  1. Alternatives: You can use other fruits like mango, peaches, plums, etc or any kind of berries. 
  2. For boozy popsicles, you could add 2-3 tablespoons Kirsch brandy or Amaretto.
